Today I will discuss and share my one of the experiences related to Backdated degree and Regular Degree.
One day when I was sitting in one of the group discussions and the topic was Backdated degree or Regular Attended degree so I chose backdated and all of they Chose Regular then we started our Conversation.
They said “Backdated degree is illegal which corrupts the system of India, it leads someone to jail. Regular degree is Legal where A regular student goes to college daily he attends the regular classes , writes the all exams properly,
where he does the hard work for three to four years then waits for result after that only he receives a degree in his hand then only it is called a Genuine degree”.
Then I waited for my turn and when it came my turn then I started speaking
“yes I appreciate the views of all of you that you support Regular attended degree and A student should do the hard work and give his three to four years full time in college
but here my question is What about those Persons who can’t go to college right now because their age limits have been crossed
Even they can’t attend the regular classes because they have to go to Offices full time to Survive their houses
They have long,Good and Strong Experiences,They are talented,they have skills and they are enough mature
but they don’t have Authentic degree in their hands which can help them for their betterment,which can help them
in their Promotions,Increments and change the jobs from small Factories to MNC Companies
Because There are many persons in market who Deserve to be manager but they are working like a junior engineers
As they don’t have degrees that’s why last for many years they didn’t receive the Promotions,Increments or bonuses
this is the reasons they are working with same old Salary slabs,Even new comer of new Age boys who join the same company those who are not having Enough Experiences
but they start taking more salaries because they have Valid degrees
but A man who has Enough and Huge Experience he is taking less salary than a new comer degree holder
Now the Question is
“If someone helps the Experienced holder man to receive a backdated degree for his Increment,Promotion or betterment then Is it Wrong?”
Then One of them told me yes it’s a completely Illegal Because you Are providing him a Degree without Attending Regular classes.
I replied him “so Is that not also a illegal which is done by Regular Engineering colleges
because they take the regular admissions after that they charge Extra fees from a student for Non-Attending classes
after that Student is working somewhere in company and he is coming college only to write the exams and
when the Exams are held then student pays them more Amount for cheating in exams and Student gets passed
and Student receives a Regular Attended Degree”
Now you Tell me Where Student Attended the Classes, When Student Came to college for his attendance but still he received the Regular degree.
Then one of them said Backdated degree is illegal according to Indian Government
I replied him “Yes, I respect the laws and Rules & regulations of Indian Government so if it is illegal then how is this legal those universities who are conducting three years’ Exams in one time and Enrolling a Present student in Previous years’ Admissions Here if we Focus on both the Situations Deeply then Both the Situations will also be called Backdated but many reputed Colleges and Universities are Openly doing this to receive the Admissions and Increase their Businesses.
Again someone said it’s against of Rules and Regulations
I replied him “yes, it can be but Here I give you an Example you have to listen to me Carefully
one day 40+aged man came to met me and he said I have three children 2 are daughters and one is son all of they go to schools
but my salary is 17400 because I don’t have degree so my Company didn’t Promote me and They didn’t increase my salary
now I can’t even change the job because each company requires at least Graduation which I don’t have,
I deliver the same work to my company which is done by A Degree Holder but he gets 45000 and I receive only 17400
I have more experience than today’s youngsters Engineers, I can do more work and show more good performance than today’s youngsters Engineers
still they are receiving 45000 and I am receiving 17400
My each child’s school fees is 2500 per month which multiplies with three which becomes 7500 then there are many extra and Additional Expenses,
I feel myself helpless,
Because I am very emotional
I need a Backdated degree which can help me to receive Promotion and increment because for me increment is necessary
otherwise I will committee a suicide because I don’t have another option. Then I hugged and condoled him”.
Now my question is for you:-
“Should I teach him Rules & Regulations who is going to committee a suicide, Should I explain him all the Laws Chapters who has been demotivated completely from inside or should I give him a bag filled with Notebooks/Books/Stationary and say “you have to go to college since tomorrow to attend the regular full time classes hanging this bag in you back and attend the classes regularly full time for three to four years and leave your family just focus on your career,Regular Classes because you have to receive Regular attended degree?”.
Real Case Study of one of the students
in May 2022 there was a sales executive who applied for an internal transferred to a Europe based branch of his company
His degree(A degree certificate which was submitted by him to his employer) had been accepted earlier in India without any issue.
But you know what happened during foreign credential evaluation the university could not confirm his admission year because the record of his enrollment number did not match with internal record of the University
His company did not cancel his job but stopped the overseas transfer permanently now he is blacklisted for Overseas jobs that’s a sad news for him
He later confirmed and admitted degree which was submitted by him it was totally backdated to meet eligibility at that time
Here I am giving you one of the best examples
A backdated degree works like a temporary identity proof like a pass of a metro
It may open a door today but it cannot support you when deeper checks begin until and unless the degree data is not recorded inside the university deeply and permanently
As responsibilities grow like:- If someone is getting promoted, if someone is going to get the increments then the verification becomes stricter and hard for an employee
That is why I always say that documentation matters more than explanations
Careers of students and employees don’t fail suddenly because they fail at verification points
Conclusion
See, sometime Rules And Regulations Fail before the Humanity, Some time we have to do something which is out of the boundaries. Here I don’t say that Backdated Degree is good or not here I am only saying that the Situation of a Needy person is big because I know what happens with him and what does he feel who is having unsustainable burdens on his shoulders.
